J. Ronald Terwilliger Named the 2013 ULI Nichols Laureate

The importance of appealing affordable housing as a vital component of thriving communities is being recognized with this year’s ULI J.C. Nichols Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development. Internationally recognized housing expert and former ULI Chairman J. Ronald Terwilliger has been chosen as the 2013 recipient of the prize, which is the Institute’s highest honor. Swim with the Sharks at the 2013 ULI Fall Meeting

Building A Legacy

During the month of October, ULI Tampa Bay will host an unprecedented three national ULI Advisory Services Panels in St. Petersburg, Pasco and Longboat Key. Since 2006, our region has participated in 6 prior Advisory Services Panels. This will be the second Advisory Services Panel for Pasco County. The first took place in April of 2008, and has henceforth guided economic decisions made by the county. St. Petersburg creates master plan for downtown waterfront [EXCERPT] A panel of professionals from the Urban Land Institute will descend on the city this month to analyze the waterfront, interview stakeholders and offer guidance on the area’s future.
