ULI Contributes to Future Leaders in Planning Program


At the end of June, ULI Tampa Bay led a ‘building healthy places’ visioning workshop with 12 high school students as part of the Hillsborough County Future Leaders in Planning Program. ULI Members Taylor Ralph of Real Building Consultants and Hannah McAleer of Clearview Land Design, led small groups in a visioning exercise focused on an area of the West River in Tampa. ULI Tampa Bay/St Petersburg Receives $20,000 Resiliency Grant

ULI Awards $20,000 to help improve urban resilience in St. Petersburg, Florida.  ULI Tampa Bay will convene a Technical Assistance Panel to inform the City of St. Petersburg’s current Climate Action Plan, considering the city’s coastal vulnerabilities and the threat of sea level rise. The project has been convened with the support of Mayor Rick Kriseman and will be carried out in partnership with city staff. Event Recap: Connecting with Cuba


At the May 5th StimULI Breakfast, experts shared insights on opportunities for connecting with Cuba on travel, business and baseball. Janet Zink, the Assistant Vice President of Media and Government Relations for the Tampa International Airport reported on the growing Tampa to Cuba air traffic – a 65% increase between 2012 and 2015.
