Technical Assistance Panels
ULI Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) are a service that provides the finest expertise in real estate, planning, and development together to collaborate on complex land use and redevelopment projects across our region. These panels provide unbiased pragmatic advice for addressing complex land use and real estate development issues. TAPS are offered to local, public and private organizations and offer an opportunity to engage local land use leaders in exploring a development project, policy, or challenge. ULI Tampa Bay assembles a group of members with expertise relevant to the scope of work which may include developers and landowners, investors, designers, planners, engineers, architects, market and financial analysts, marketing professionals, as well as members of the public sector. A conflict-of-interest statement is signed by all panelists prior to participation.
We work with each organization to understand and refine the scope of work to help identify and solve key issues. A six-month or more lead-time is necessary to provide sufficient time to assemble the best available ULI panel members, compile briefing materials, and plan for the logistics of the TAP.
Within six to eight weeks following the TAP, ULI Tampa Bay will deliver a professional, high-quality report that can be used as a tool to help your team implement the recommendations. A dedicated representative from the panel is available for questions and consulting for 12 months following the TAP and we promote the outcome of the report to our membership and the community.
