Lee Lowry, Executive Director
Lee Lowry is the Executive Director of ULI Tampa Bay, a seven-county membership organization with a mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. From 2017 to 2023, she was the Director of Development for the Hillsborough Community College Foundation, serving as chief fundraiser for the College. She was the 2013-2014 President of The Junior League of Tampa (JLT), currently the tenth largest League in the world. While serving as JLT President, Ms. Lowry spearheaded the highly successful Abolish Movement campaign to fight child sex trafficking, which was later adopted by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). For her work on the issue, Ms. Lowry was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to the inaugural Florida Statewide Council on Human Trafficking in 2015.
She serves as Chair of the Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women, as President of the Board of the Tampa Tiger Bay Club, and was appointed by the Mayor of Tampa to the City’s Public Nuisance Abatement/Code Enforcement Board, on which she serves as Vice Chair. Ms. Lowry is a Past Chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee of Hillsborough County as well as of the State Public Affairs Committee of the Junior Leagues of Florida, and was a member of the inaugural Tampa Police Department Citizens Review Board.
